LINK AI Static: Markets addition (cumulative ideas)

Please, add requests to add a new market for LINK AI Static and provide:

  • Which markets and for which contexts are required?

  • Whether current solution has already the markets available that can, potentially, be combined to form a regional norm or be used as a proxy?

  • Reasoning for the required addition.

  • Commercial implication if the market is added.

Some markets requests that we have already received:

  • UAE

  • Egypt

  • Korea

  • Belgium

South Africa

South Africa was tracked following a direct request from the local CS team asking whether LINK AI Static could be made available in the market. The request was driven by existing client interest and the intent to sell Static locally, with feasibility discussions focused on building sufficient static norms to enable the market in a future model update.

India

India was added to the list after CS teams highlighted strong client demand, supported by an existing base of LIFT studies and increasing LINK AI usage. CS explicitly requested Static availability to enable upsell opportunities, positioning India as a commercially attractive market once normative thresholds could be met.

Malaysia

Malaysia was tracked as a requested market following a direct inquiry from the SEA CS team regarding the availability of LINK AI Static. The team explicitly asked why the solution was not yet enabled locally and what was preventing its rollout, indicating active intent to offer LINK AI Static to clients once technical prerequisites could be met.

Thailand

Thailand was explicitly named by CS leadership during discussions on LINK AI Static regional norms as a required market for upcoming client work. The request was driven by immediate campaign timelines, leading to exploration of regional or proxy solutions until direct Static enablement could be achieved.

Ukraine

Ukraine was added to the list after a formal CS request to enable LINK AI Static, driven by a concrete commercial opportunity with a major OOH operator (Megapolis+). The local Creative Lead highlighted the risk of losing the partnership without Static capability and asked for guidance on steps required to activate the market.

Saudi Arabia (KSA)

KSA emerged as a priority market through CS‑led client work, including requests to re‑test and operationalize LINK AI outputs for major global clients such as L’Oréal. Teams explored cross‑market workarounds to meet client demand, demonstrating clear intent to use LINK AI Static once local enablement was feasible.

Romania

Romania was added following CS discussions, including Coca‑Cola‑related conversations; however, the request was not captured in a written email or Teams message. The market was therefore tracked based on verbal CS input rather than a formally documented request.

Singapore

We are aiming to have more Asian markets available for LINK AI static. Singapore is one of them. Along with Thailand and Malaysia. Currently we don’t have enough consumer links yet so we doing norms building exercises with the ultimate goal of having LINK AI available for static in said markets

Please, consider CEE to expand the LINK AI Static markets Ukraine, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary) either on the regional or market level. I do not see too much CEE and especially CZECH republic among requested markets, but we work heavily for multicountry studies and CZ is important and big player among CEE. As CEE lead I feel it could strenghten our sales potential:)

    Hi team,
We also have 4 clients who require static testing using Link AI. In addition, there is a local player already working with these clients, offering AI-based static testing with heatmaps. Therefore, it is very important for us to have Link AI for static available as soon as possible. Thanks

Hi again, an update on the urgency of creating norms for CEE. We have two clients who expressed a clear interest in LINK AI for static solutions - they are using static advertising heavily and told us that it is very important for them to have the solution active.

In addition, one has informed us that they were approached by System 1 with a very attractive proposal of building norms on our market. They chose LINK AI subscription from us thinking that they could leverage all its capabilities in the near future. Thus, it is very important that we can have LINK AI for static available as soon as possible.

    LINK AI Static for Belgium.

    1. Which markets and for which contexts are required?

Channels/ Context: LINK AI Static - Total, Print, OOH, Digital (Facebook, Instagram, Others)

    Markets: Belgium (Dutch), Belgium (French).

Please note that in the LINK database, language is based on region:

    • Belgium (North) = Dutch

    • Belgium (South) = French

    • Belgium (National) = both (when data is merged and uploaded to the database)

If LINK database inputs are used for predictions, this split should therefore be taken into account.

    1. Whether current solution has already the markets available that can, potentially, be combined to form a regional norm or be used as a proxy?

LINK AI is already available for Digital and TV in Belgium, and LINK+ is available for TV, Digital and Print/Outdoor (but no percentiles due to low base sizes in the database).

    • Netherlands = Dutch/ North

    • France = French/ South

This could potentially be used as a proxy but we cannot be 100% sure about this.

    1. Reasoning for the required addition.

As we’ve been promoting Content Optimiser to clients and prospects, this is becoming a real constraint.

We are seeing strong interest from clients in LINK AI subscriptions, but the inability to test static assets - which are a key part of most campaigns in Belgium - is holding them back from committing, and from getting a full, holistic view of campaign performance.

Clients often test their hero assets via LINK+ but would like to test supporting creatives (often static) with LINK AI, which is currently not available.

In addition, we are conducting our 3rd annual Effie Belgium thought leadership piece in July 2026. This is a big marketing initiative by Kantar Belgium which generates a lot of new business, so it would be very valuable to include print and outdoor learnings to expand the insights shared.

    1. Commercial implication if the market is added.

    Estimated €150K–€300K minimum.

    1. When do you think you would be running these ads in LINK+? Would it be within the next 1-2 months?

We would be able to start immediately.

    1. Would you happen to have already the considerable number of ads that are lawfully sourced? Potetnially, we could take a look at enhancing the benchmark by adding these ads to our benchmark base when the model is being refreshed.

Yes. We can use ads already available on air for key clients, as well as previous creatives from Effie winners, based on our existing partnerships and the work conducted with them over the past two years.

In addition, we have a number of ongoing studies where static creatives are being tested (post-test), which could also be used for this purpose.

Can we please add Indonesia and Vietnam to the list especially with the launch of Content Optimiser? Thank you.

We have several big opportunities in CEE. We have discussed with our colleagues in the region and we all agreed that it would be useful to have LINK AI for static. Since country by country we do not meet the minimum number of ads needed, but cumulatively we do and since LINK AI for Digital was also launched leveraging also inputs from more CEE countries, we recommend the same approach. Suggested countries: Romania, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Croatia and Slovakia.

I am attaching the current number of Static LINK+ studies done per country.

For Poland, since the solution is already available there - norms should stay the same. We just want to leverage the number of tests done within this country for the CEE norms.

Let us know the next steps.

Comment from Ukraine: right now we have a significant opportunity with Megapolis+, one of the key OOH media operators in Ukraine. They are planning extensive testing of static creatives, and Link AI Static would fit their needs perfectly. Because this option is not yet accessible for Ukraine, we are unable to support the client in full, which could jeopardize a valuable partnership. We are really looking forward to get access to Link AI Static product.
